Colorectal Cancer
Jennifer has specialty training in the management of colorectal cancers. She performs both open and minimally invasive surgery where appropriate. This includes Laparoscopic Surgery and Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEMS/TAMIS).
Surgical Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Jennifer works closely with gastroenterologists in the multidisciplinary care of patients with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease including J pouch surgery, bowel resection and the surgical management of complex perianal disease.
Colonoscopy
Jennifer has Conjoint Committee recognition for training in Adult Colonoscopy.
In most cases General Practitioners may refer directly for colonoscopy without the need for a consultation.
Proctology, Prolapse and Incontinence
Jennifer is experienced in the treatment of perianal conditions including prolapse surgery, haemorrhoid surgery, treatment of anal fissure and perianal fistulae. She is experienced in the management of incontinence, including sacral nerve modulation, having completed the European Continuing Medical Training fundamental pelvic floor neuromodulation course in (Antwerp, Belgium 2023).
Appointments
Jennifer practices at Subiaco Colorectal, a Specialist Private Practice comprised of surgeons and gastroenterologists. For an appointment in her practice, a current referral from your general practitioner or specialist will be required. Initial consultations and follow up visits will incur a fee, some of which will be rebatable through medicare. Please note that private insurance does not cover consultations.

Fees
​For patients with private insurance, hospital admission for surgery will be associated with out of pocket expenses. At the time of booking your surgery you will be provided with a quote of estimated out of pocket expenses. Please feel free to discuss this at the time of booking your appointment.

Jennifer also treats patients without private health insurance in the public system at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals. This is limited to patients living within the South Metropolitan Health Service catchment area.
